I have some 2115 Easton XX75's and am wondering what length they should be for using 125gr tips for my #53 longbow? I currently shoot 2016's cut to 29" and they shoot great.
One stick, one string and an arrow I'll fling!

i would recommend you input all your info into the stu miller calculator to help guide you.

I'll second the above. Since 2115s are no longer being manufactured by Easton, cutting on them for experimentation isn't the way to go because if you cut them too short, it's a ruined arrow since you can't easily find or buy 2115 full length shafts since Easton discontinued them years ago.

Thanks. I did download the Calculator but noticed that my bow, Super shrew, is not listed so I guess I'll have to do some measuring. I'll give it a go once I determine the shrew's specs.

2115s ar closer to 2018s than 2016s so you may need to leave them longer or add point weight..........
Bowhunting is "KILL and EAT" not "Catch and Release".....Semper Fi!

What hyhitter said.

The 2115s spine slightly stiffer than 2018s.

Night Wing

Something to kick around when it comes to spine.

2016=.531

2018=.464
2115=.461
2213=.458

A 2018 weighs 12.3 GPI (grains per inch).
A 2115 weighs 10.8 GPI (grains per inch).
A 2213 weighs 9.8 or 9.9 GPI (grains per inch) depending on if one uses XX75 or XX78 aluminum.

A 2213 is stiffer, but it's also light arrow when compared against a 2018 or a 2115. Good speed, moderate weight which translate to a good moderately weighted arrow with good trajectory.
