I've searched this topic several times to make sure this post isn't gum thats been thoroughly chewed.  4/2009 was the last post I found on these broadheads.  Has anyone tried the newer 125gr. heads?  They look like a CNC machine shop masterpiece.  Traditional enough or not isn't even vaguely what I'm touching on.  Anyone tried them? How do they fly?  Does the increased cutting surface generate greater bloodtrails?

Many thanks,

I have the 100gr CX XT 4 blade. To me, they're just as sharp out of the box as my Silver Flames. Crazy sharp.

I believe Jim Belcher has been using the F-15's and raves about their performance.

I'm going to try some in either 100gr or 125gr with my mid-40's Toelke Classic Whip's and Grizzly Stiks with the brass insert.

Try different searches, because they've been discussed more here and more recently than that.

If out of a bow mid-40's and up, I think they'd be incredible. They are actually more like a Steelhead Phathead in size and are smaller in person than in print.

Mojostick,

Ahh yes!  I see that by using the subject line search instead of entire message I get a more refined search result.  I read Jim's comments and others.  Thanks for pointing that out.  I think they will work with my Toelke Whip as well...

Blacktails beware!

Take a look at the XT 4 blade if you ever need a 100gr head that fly's great and is very, very sharp out of the box.
It's basically a 2 blade with little bleeders at the tip, as opposed to the conventional bleeders in the rear. The back of the blades are silly sharp too.
