I want to get on of Teresa Asbell's wool pullovers and was hoping you guys could give some feedback and post pics of yours since I can't decide what color pattern to get. How is the fit? Thanks in advance!

I have a long sleeve pullover without a hood and a vest.  I really like them. I'm 6ft 215# and the XL fits good.  I plan on getting another one or two more.

Great wool gear!!  The fit is cut generous to allow layering underneath.

Nice pics Joe (hey, it's me, Jameson Olson).  That snow looks mighty nice right about now.  Lol!

Thanks guys.  Still kicking myself in the tail for not buying one up at Comptons last month.

I tried one on at the Midwest Trad Expo this year. Very well made. They did not have one in My size on the rack but Teresa said she'd make one for Me.

I'll have one for hunting season.

I like mine - the plaid helps camouflage my big fat belly.

I've got a couple and really like them. I'd like to get more if they make some in other colors than on the website.

Robtattoo, Me, and Mason all bought one at Compton this year. Theresa had some heavier weight wool in Mossy Oak or Realtree, cannot remember.... ? Tighter weave and looked to be more windproof than the other colors. Will let everyone know how it works out for us on the windy days this winter. For the $$$ looks to be a great garment as long as it provides decent wind protection. Gotta be better than my Cabelas plain jane 80/20 wool sweater I wore last year under my Gray Wolf vest. Toasty most days but arms got cold on windy days as it blew right thru the open weave of the sweater. JMHO

These are the two Asbell pull overs I have.  I am very happy with them.  They are a loose weave wool like King of the Mountain and won't be as rugged as a close weave like you get from Filson.  I thought the orange one would blend well with oak leaves but in the end, the darker one blended in better.  Can't go wrong for the price.

I have a pile of Asbell wool, it is my favorite hunting garment. My 2 favorite patterns are on thier site now, "Piney Woods" and "Shadow Plaid".

I THINK I like them with out the hood....but everytime I wear one that has the hood, I use the heck out of it. In the last few seasons, she has added handwarmer pockets, which I love. Asbell wool may be one of the best values available to us.

I just bought a Shadow Plaid with a hood a couple weeks ago to take on my elk hunt this fall and I support everything said above - it exceeded my expectations. You'll be hard pressed to find something better especially anywhere near that price.

I bought 2 @ Kazoo this year and I love them.
They are very warm and comfortable too.

I have several and love them. Perfect for the early Sep season, my only issue was wind getting thru in the later season. They now offer a wind proof garment to go under, I plan on getting one and trying it. It should make them more versatile and possibly the perfect hunting garment.

I have two, one hooded vest and the other is a long sleeve pull over without the hood. Both good fitting and room for laying under. Have yet to see a plaid that I didn't like.

I have the hooded pullover in Montana Magic. It's great for layering under and I love the hood for those cold windy days. The hood also helps to break up my silhouette.

I have that pullover wind blocker vest, and tested it exensively this past winter. Like most great ideas, it's just so darned simple....and it works like a charm.

I have both hooded and non-hooded pullovers.  And one of the mackinaw hoods they were selling.  All good stuff.  I might have to order one of the windblocker vests next.
