Just bought a Cheyenne from a member here-- does anybody know what the arrow rest is made of? Looks like seal but longer and a bit thicker... I need to replace it. Thanks for any and all info.

Calf hair, I believe, for the rest. Sealskin on the sideplate.

Couple of my Morrisons had sealskin on the rest, velcro on the side plate. Really doesn't make any difference what you replace it with.  Leather, velcro, calfskin, etc.  It all works.

Just got a riser refinished by Bob and the rest was sealskin and the sideplate was clipped calf hair.  I agree with Orion...doesn't really matter (if you can't get some sealskin).

Thanks fellas --I think it's sealskin, with a calfhair plate. I'll experiment and see what works best.

Bob sells the material for rest and wall.
