Dentist by trade, got a wild hair and got my high speed hand drill after my widow. Took 10 minutes and now we have no slip grip.

That looks great.  You are pretty talented with that drill!  Had a lot of practice, huh? And you are pretty brave to take a drill to your widow.  Nice work!   :clapper:

very nice. i like it. i've been thinking of doing my 70s k mag but i don't have the guts to try it yet. awesome. did you do an outline where you wanted the pattern or did you eyeball it? don

graybarkhunter

don, i sprayed a removable (dental) "spray paint" all around the grip and then gripped my bow exactly how i hold it when i shoot. my hands rubbed off the spray paint where i had gripped. so, i outlined this with a pencil then went to work. then i put two coats of Tru Oil over the area and buffed it. ready to go now. each dimple is  half mm to 1 mm at deepest. it was 99 degrees here in mississippi today and shot twenty plus times with no hand slip. at first i was a little timid to do it but finally i got the g(n)uts to do it. i figured you cant learn from it if you dont do it. thanks for the comments guys .. graybark

Spurs

Yep, it's a great job Seth.  You do have some plums to do that.  I am really impressed.  My widow will be here Monday.  Don't think I have the stones to try that on the new pch.
