I moved to Michigan from Oregon last month and have been roaming around to different areas to look over the land and see if I can find some places to hunt.  Today I went stump shooting and thought I'd include a few photos.  I had a great day!

I've heard it said that Christianity is a crutch.  To me, it's a walking stick to use on the path of life.

Nice! Always fun to join stump shooting and prospection  :)
An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.

Donald,

I sent you a PM.  You are not too far from our club.   www.landolakesbowmen.com

We are hosting the Michigan Longbow Association Spring Shoot next weekend.  Come on up!

That looks like the Brighton State Recreation Area.

Here is a link to what Steve O was talking about.  You will find all kinds of great people to enjoy the sport with.

Looks a lot like NO Mi except that we are under water at the moment, the most standing water since 1974 and as cold as it has been up here the damn mosquitos were out the other nite!

To be legal, you must have your small game license with you, AND your supposed to have on an orange hat.  :D

From what I understand, this is correct.  Except the orange hat part.  Just need to follow the hunter's orange requirements for small game hunting, be it a hat, coat, shirt...ect, and make sure you know what is in season just incase your stopped.  You will have the answer they are looking for.
