Just a heads up for anyone looking for a last minute bear hunt. I have 2 openings May29-June4. Those are the only hunters in camp that week so you'll have run of the 17+ baits. Thanks....Ryan

Just so you know what you might miss out on....here's my buddy Mike's 1st stickbow bear from last spring.

Here's my '09' bear with the same longbow Mike now owns for building me a concrete counter top. The things you trade to keep the wife happy???

IndianaBowman

I can't believe you still have the hunts available. Those are two giant bears.

I can tell you for certain Ryan, that there are more people who WANT to come hunt than you can count.

Many of us have had to "tighten the belt" and make cut backs on spending across many fronts.
Extra money is hard to come by.

I`m sure getting to meet YOU would be as much a draw to Manitoba as getting to meet one of those tanks you roam the woods with.  :campfire:

This is the stuff bow-hunters dreams are made of!!!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, if I were ever going to try my hand at bear hunting, it would be with you Ryan.

I watch every video, look at each picture and read every post about or by you that pops up here.

Have a great season!

God bless,Mudd

Thanks so much for the kind words guys....you don't know how much that means to me!

I understand the economy these days and know that if I can make it work now that it'll be easy later.

Good news is that I have 3 different groups of 3 guys "possibly" interested.

Thanks again everyone...Ryan

Me money is paid, me broadheads are sharp, so bring on one of those pumpkin heads

Ryan is super to work with and I can't think of any group of fellas to spend the week with than Tradgangers. Ryan can I just come and stay 2 weeks if no one takes the slots?  :)  I don't know how to build a countertop but can sew up a split noggin' or set a broke wing should it occur   :archer2:

Mike...wouldn't a 2 week bear hunt be nice? Wish I could offer that...too bad the hunting seasons are so short!

As far as fixin' a noggin' or wing...let's hope I don't have to take you up on that one. How about a bear bite or claw laceration? Wouldn't that make for a cool story and scar?.....and video footage! (Joking)

Can't wait to start a "Stickflingers" kill thread. I like the sound of that!...Ryan

Hmmm I sure hope I don't have to go back to trauma 101...I think bear claw/bite laceration repair is a bit outa my league. We don't get those injuries here in So Illinois. Now if we're talkin' spurred by a turkey or rotator suff injury from pulling giant whitetails into the back of a truck I'm your man

This is gonna be a GREAT experience! I have never hunted bears before, but after talking with Ryan and seeing the names of the guys that jumped in for his first year of offering hunts, I made it happen. Can't wait to see all of the big bears that end up on that Stickflingers thread after this spring  ;)

This should be a no brainer:

1. Be in on the inaugural season with what will undoubtably one of the great bear outfitters of all time at a super price.  This hunt will surely be the lowest price he ever charges.

2. Hunt an area that has not been hunted for 3 years.  The previous outfitter   lightly hunted only half of it.  The outfitter on the adjoining concession only hunts the front, non adjacent half of his territory.

3. Hunt with a guy that not only knows bowhunting, but traditional bowhunting.

4.  Comfy accomadations in a lakefront cabin with good fishing, food, and friends.

I don't know what more a guy could ask for!

steadman

For you to sponser me Steve!  :)  Wished I could come up, but with no job, not gonna happen...this year. Good luck guys!

I would have replied sooner but it's been hard walking around with this BIG head from all the compliments. Flattery can buy you a big bear...that's a scientific fact! (at least in my camp)

Seriously...we'll be into bears, shoot bows, eat lots of food, and have fun! Besides that I can't promise much! ....Ryan

Maybe next year. I need to start a "bear hunt fund"soon.
Rushlush, you've got to jump on one of those spots!
