My fiance just emailed me at work to say the mail was delivered and along with it my Mohawk. Can't wait to get home and see it. Only one more hour...

Ok, made it home and opened up the package. Man am I happy! Here we go, 62" 52@28, cocobolo riser, all red elm limbs.

Here's "Little Chopper"

That kind of anticipation can be downright cruel.  But it makes the unwrap even sweater.  I hope you enjoy it.

Awesome bow Wade! That wood is excellent. A Mohawk is on my short-list. Congrats!

Unfortunately I wrecked my Harley a couple weeks ago and badly sprained my left wrist. So I can't shoot very much. I did put two arrows through but I know I'm not getting to full draw and my grip is not right since I'm wearing a splint. Hopefully this stupid wrist will heal soon and I'll be able to give a full report as to the functionality of the bow. I can tell you this though, the bow at least looks awesome!

What kind of wood is in the riser?  Looks great.

Never mind, I just re-read the original post.  Never saw that kind of grain pattern before.  Love it.

That's a great looking bow!  I think your dog likes it too!  Thanks for sharing your pictures, and good luck with the wrist.  I got my motorcycle out and rode to work today.  Gotta be careful out there!
