Went out stump shooting and scouting for a certain spring tag a real good friend has this year. And look at what I found!! Goes to show a blind squirell indeed finds a nut every once in a while. Hope this is a good sign for the draw in a couple months   :)

Disclaimer: there are no big bulls here in UT, put in for other states     :biglaugh:        :biglaugh:

Congrats on the nice find! I found a super nice 6 point myself just this morning while at work.(being a year round coyote hunter has a few benefits!)

I think the antler I found was from one of these bulls. It was right near where I took this pic several days ago. They are just starting to shed here, and I have seen them with both into the middle of April.

I'll trade my snow for your green grass!  :D

Where's the pics Tracy? The green is at my house, there was snow up where this was, just not as much as you guys. Matt all the big bulls are gone, I just hope this one crosses the road if I draw this year.

Dam it's tough to be an elk hunter in CT,I never find sheds like that when I'm out stumpin.

Yea, no bow tips or knife handles from this one. Although it's thick enough for great knife handles. It's just the start of the shedding, so mabey if find some more  :)  FYI, this is my first elk find.
I hope I draw first Mike, then your senerio would be perfect!
