Does anyone know where a guy could get some 2-Blade snuffers? And how wide are they and the weight on them.

Thanks,
David

I thought they were all three-bladed.

I saw a pic on this site once and it was a 2-blade Snuffer.I don't think they make them any more.

Check with the trad history/collecting forum. Might get a faster response there. My experience with them was they were not a great choice. Lots of options out there that are better. Good luck.

Delta built them.I've got some 100gr and I beleive they built 125gr.IMO very weak on the tip when compared to other 2 blades the same weight.

I think Delta made them for a few years but I dont think I've seen them offered for about 10 years now.....you have to pick them up used.

They haven't been made for years. Unless you are a collector, there are numerous better options.

Thanks for all the help everyone,

Killdeer

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

I have some of the 2 blades and like Killdeer said, they are noisy

ishoot4thrills

I've got six of them. I used one to kill a doe with in '08. Worked very well and the doe only went 40 yds.

CORRECTION! These heads are NOT Snuffers! I've been told that they are Delta Nubbins. Sorry for any confusion I may have caused.

I don't use them now. I use Magnus vented heads instead.

ishoot4thrills how did you foot those arrows with the collar and wood grain look.

Killdeer

If those are 3555 GT Traditional arrows, a 2117 makes a nice foot and nock collar. I dunno about the higher spines. Easton Legacy shafting is pretty for that, if you have some junkers.

The arrows are Beman MFX 500 Classics. I used 2" sections of 2020 Easton Legacy aluminum shafting and applied Gorilla Glue to the shaft before installing. I also chamfered(spelling?) the back edge of the footing so as to aid in removing the arrow from bag targets. I got the methods from right here on the Tradgang in a how-to video.

The Snuffer 2 blade was first made in 1991. All Snuffers, except for the Baby Snuffer 3 blade, have the tip vent.

ishoot4thrills...I believe your broadhead is a Delta Nubbins 2 blade.

Didnt Delta have one called the sniper also.
Similar to the non-vented but convex blades.

My bad.......I thought mine were Snuffers. Broadhead identification is definitely NOT my specialty! Thanks for the heads-up.
