If you are a Compton member you should have your election ballot in the mail already or soon. Our very own WHIP - Joe Lasch is running for the Compton Board this year. Joe is a great guy and a good fit for the position. Not saying there is anyone not worthy running. Just reminding all to vote and support Joe if you can. Compton is a fantastic Organization and I think it is great Joe is willing to devote his volunteer time to the Board. VOTE FOR JOE

A couple weeks back there was thread about why some folks don't join organizations that support bowhunting.  It was the first time I had heard that Comptons was more than just a shooting event.

Joe took the time to explain what Comptons was doing and why I should join and I can't think of anyone better to vote for.

Thanks for the plug Dave!  And while I would like to do what I can on the board, you are right - there was a great list of qualified people running, so no way to lose on that election.

I'm gone hunting this week, but I think ballots had to be returned by the 7th. Thanks!

I just joined Compton at the Waterloo show so I wasn't able to vote. Who is this Whip guy anyway?     do you have cell coverage on the ranch? Are you boys doing any good? I looked at the weather forecast yesterday and it looks like you're having some great weather.
