Just bought a new Hoyt Excel and plan on shooting it in competition. I want to shoot barebow and 3D and indoors. HELP

Eugene Slagle

You planning to use a rest & plunger?

What is the set up consist of?
Zona Custom Recurve: 60" 49# @ 27.5".
Sky Sky Hawk Recurve: 60" 47# @ 27.5".
Genesis 27:3 Now therefore, please take thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and hunt game for me.

LongStick64

What limbs are you using, longbow, recurve. When I shot the Excel I used Sky Ilf Longbow limbs, Medium length, Shorty plunger and flipper rest. Real sugar setup, only thing I didn't like was the brace height felt a bit high for my taste.

i mainly shoot trad tournaments so i machined a raduis high enough to use a countersink bolt for a sideplate. same thing as the dalaa uses. simply glued on with 2 part epoxy! this is the new blackout finish that hoyt is offering on their target bows, just like the hunting bows.

since this photo i have added a gmx diamondwood grip.
