Hard to tell how long and tall they are, but I think your weight estimate might turn out to be low.

Congratulations Mr. Kelly.

Been following this thread and it looks like the Lincoln Ranch has some nice big hogs.

You surely have killed a bunch of giants.

I would like to try Lincoln some day.

Good shooting, sir.

Thanks Irv.  I just have been lucky to have had alot of good opportunities.  It comes in waves.  Right now, haven't haduch hog activity for the last few months, and I don't have any hog hunts planned in TX.  I would expect some activity towards March, as the acorns and pecans dwindle but nothing is ever guaranteed.  Alot of big hogs in TX and Southern Oklahoma.

Man those are some nice hogs!!!

I never felt like any of my pigs were big enough to be on this thread until I got this one last month.

A few more weeks and I'll try again

That is a beast of  hog, for sure.  Congrats

This one was shot at Irv's Hog Camp in South Florida (formerly True south Adventures)

This is Bill Langers largest hog in over 25 years of bowhunting.

The new properties are holding some nice hogs and we are having fun.

Was well over 300#s.

RIP, Izzy!

I hope we can keep this thread going in his memory forever!!!!!!

Thom,

Looks like you and Bill will have sausage for a year including all the neighbors.

Congratulations to all of you folks for those nice hogs.

Great Memories!

Congrats Irv...maybe you can teach me lol. That's a giant hog for sure. I was with Thom Jorgensen when he got his and that one scaled 338lbs. I wonder what Bill's weighed? it looks a little bigger.

sticksnstones

HOLY COW! Literally! I think I've seen cows smaller than that beast!!! I love that blonde hide too! Man that is a great looking pig!!! I hope there is a bit of taxidermy or something special going on with that guy!

Irv, mine brought in 120 pounds of sausage. Drop into camp at the Rendezvous and we'll do up a sausage chili or something special!

John, there is something about being one of they guys trying to lift a really big hog onto a tailgate that will stick with ya! Glad you were there to share in that wonderful adventure!

Looks like it's been a good year for us trad bow guys getting into some bigger hogs!

I'm not sure what that hog weighed for sure?
Did not scale it.
We layed my 62" Blackwidow next to it, from tip of nose to base of tail was over 4 1/2 feet. From tip of nose to tip of tail was longer than the bow.
I had my friend Tom Gauthier with me. He is 27 years old, works in construction and is in great shape. The two of us really worked hard to drag it 200 yards. I've been lucky to have killed several very big hogs, not one of them was I not able to drag out myself. We are still talking about how hard it was to drag!
Thanks again to Irv's Hog Camp for gaining access to land that holds big pigs!

Hopewell Tom

This thread really puts the term HOGS into perspective.

Yes John,

I would be happy to hunt with you any time, teach you what I can for sure.

I know Bill and his friend Tom, had a hard time dragging that hog.

I was not much good because on Jan 14th, I fell and broke two ribs, but mending nicely now.

Glad your ribs are finally on the mend!
We were happy to help old friend!
Besides...
When you volunteered over and over to let Tom and Myself come down and hunt whenever and wherever we wanted...
How could we refuse!!!!
A lot cheeper than paying us

beaunaro

Didn't I just read how generous I was on some other thread??

I need to be more careful, don't want folks to think I save all the good hogs for you.

LOL
