We had a warm spell here today, it got up to about 37 degrees. Anyway, it reminded me of that season known as Spring.  Spring has come to mean hog hunting for me and it cant come soon enough.  I cant wait to put a stalk on a big old nasty boar hog in May and I can just see him now in my mind. How bout some pics to give me something to look forward to.

Matt Schuster killed this one this summer. Don't know what it weighed cause we had to quarter it up to get it out.

This was one nasty boar. He rolled some 40#ers out of his way. Seems like he was close to 200 but I can't really remember for sure

I may have to report Biggies post of Matt's kill. No pics of Rinos are allowed! That is a BIG pig....

Matts pig is always the first one that comes to mind when I think of big hogs.   :notworthy:

Chasing my kids and my degree for now but come next fall the critters better look out.  ;)

Kenneth

speaking of big hogs;  where was the opening footage of "The Bowhunters of TradGang" shot?  There were a bunch of bigguns' in that clip!

This is the largest bow killed hog I've seen on a scale.  The late Jerry Pierce and a boar weighing in at 225 pounds taken in SC.  This photo doesn't quite do the boar justice.  Mark Viewig and I floated it most of the way out, but needed some help when we beached it.   :)   This boar was all shoulders, long bristly ruff, head and teeth...a most impressive specimen.

This is my biggest...175# on a beam scale. I really prefer my trophy hogs to be in the 60- 70# range these days.
