When does your Spring Turkey open

We have to wait till April 30 this year for the first day of Spring Gobler in Penna.. Its a long wait. When does your seasons open.

Thinking on a early spring hunt in 2012 with my son.

Texas is a big state. Our turkey seasons are staggered by counties. I'll give three examples.

Bexar county: Mar 19-May 1.
Erath county: Apr 2-May 15.
Franklin county: Apr 1-Apr 30.

6 of mai for us and it close on the 17.(only the second year we have turkey season here)

henned up all ready.Makes it tough to call in.

Kentucky: Saturday closest to April 15th. This year that would be ....April 15th. I hope to have exported a couple from Nebraska before I start here at home. I love bowhunting these birds!

Word for word what I was going to write.Ours opens up May 1st.I'd kill to have it open up two weeks ealier.

Turkeys are about the only thing we have in Vermont that you can actually take a trophy size animal comparable to another state.

Haven't seen anybody from Missour weigh in here yet? Ours opens April 18th and runs through May 8th this year. I can't wait!
I'm sick of all this white stuff, mud, and slop! It's depressing.

Those nice pics of turkey really help take the edge off though.

Season runs the month of May. Can't wait, using the Ghillie this year.
