Hello the tradgang people

so far i 'm shooting a PSA BW and heavy EFOC arrow, a very smooth and forgiveness hunting conbinaison

For the first time i just buy a second hand bow "oversea" in the trad gang "traditionnal"

It's a Morrison Mini 14 riser

i deal with a great guy, just have to wait the post man now

My bank account is "very very shy"  and now i'm looking for limbs with a lonb bow profile, to get a 45/50 pounds bow to my 27 hunting draw

the cheaper i found so far are from trad tech archery and they are made by Samick

do you have some experience with those Ilf limbs ?

do you have any other cheap idea ?

Thank you in advance for your answer / David

I just got some TT longbow limbs the other day. So far the only review I can give is that its a dang good lookin limb! I haven't got my string built yet so I haven't shot them. I read a bunch about the TT limbs, as you can do searches and see also, but TT limbs seem to be by far one of the best for your money.

LongStick64

Can't help with cheap but Sky makes a real great limb for about 350.00

I'm shooting the trad tech samick longbow limb $179 on the Recon riser. I'm impressed and pleased with the performance.

I have a set of TT wood/glass longbow limbs, made by Samick, on a bb warf. I am well satisfied with them. They appear to have a different draw curve than all my other longbows. They draw harder off brace, guess it's a preload thing, but are fairly smooth and do not stack, out to 28". Don't know beyond that.

For cheap I would look for a used set. For $250 you can geta set of Sky ILF new or some really good higher end used ILF limbs.

metsastaja

I have 2 sets of trad tech recurve limbs for my hoyt excel riser. NO complaints and makes a very smooth shooting bow.

Did this combination after taking a Rod Jenkins clinic.

I have tried Dryad ILF longbow limbs on Morrison riser.  They work for me.  Dryad is Tradgang sponsor. The limbs are $300.

I can get the $250 Sky limbs for you or just call Jim and ask about them.

Do not shoot a set of these limbs, but from everything I have heard about them they are maybe the best bang for the buck in ILF limbs. You may very well never feel the need to replace them with something more expensive.

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

damascusdave

Just go to Lancasterarcherysupply.com and download the first 30 pages of their catalog. The limb length info you want is on page 21 of the 2010 catalog.

And read "Rob's tech tips" at the bottom of page 21 for an idea of what overall length should work for your draw length.
Sorry for the fragmented post. I should have just checked everything before I posted.

if i look at the right place the lenght of the LB profile limbs are 64 on the TT catalog and that will make a 62 " bow on a 17 " riser, with the morrison 14 riser that will be a 59 inch bow

Thank to all for your help !

You got it, and that should work okay with a 27 inch draw length. I have shot 60 inch long bows with my 30 inch draw and they work okay when I use 2 fingers under. In fact I have a 60 inch Beaver Creek bow on order.
