Great job, Rob.

I missed getting these during their time in print and look forward to reading IAM through your CD.

I was subscribed and really liked it so it surprised me when it stopped. I used the rest of my subscription and a little cash to get the back issues I didn't have.
May your next adventure lighten your heart, test your spirit, and nourish your soul.

yes, it was real sad to see that mag end.  it was a total labor of love for rick hinton and it finally just wore him out.  as it was, my hard copies were showing signs of wear, so with much trepidation i embarked on the digitizing and editing process that seemed to take forever and ever.  incredibly time consuming - over half a year's labor.  i swore i'd never do that again, and then someone dropped off all the issues of "longbows & recurves" and immediately i just knew i had to do the digitizing thingy all over again.    :banghead:     :D

Tradition is not the worship of ashes, but the preservation of fire.

Hey guys,

Do you see the bull elk on the issue Rob is linking you to?

My Dad took that picture. He's a better elk hunter than he is a photographer, but that picture is as down to earth as any wild bull elk picture you will ever see. It's the real deal.

Dad also gave me me my first bow, which pretty much ruined me from then on. I hope some of these issues will do the same for you.

The writers who wrote the articles you are about to read are, as the old timers would say, the real deal. . .
