I burn my own design, but I have both and like the look of shield and the stabilizing ability. and the flight and quietness of banana.I think each design has a purpose and a use,you have to figure which works for your set up.

I love banana's for the simple reason that I hate to look like everyone else.  There is no question who's arrow is stuck in a tree 20 foot up when you look.  Not that I would know anything about that.

Never tried banana.  I shoot shield and parabolic, with parabolic being my preference.

I'm a banana fletch guy now... always loved shield cuts for the way they looked, still do... but I think that banana cuts are quieter.

Parabolic, bananas don't know if there coming or going.

Low profile if I am putting on naners.  I made a whole bunch of the regular and 5 1/2 inch naners, they sure trap air and sing on down to the target. If you were using a huge broadhead and some heavy arrows they work well. I like them for bird and bunny hunting, they don't fly too far.

Sure would like to know how you guys get quiet nana's.
I have 3 choppers. sheil, nana, and traditional. Trad and nana's sound like a million bee's in flight but the shields r whisper quiet.
I really like nana's for 3d shoots. wheelie guys get a kick out of them.
