I've heard it said that Christianity is a crutch.  To me, it's a walking stick to use on the path of life.

Congrats my friend!  You mention a youth tag, can I ask how old you are?  I love seeing young folks on this web site and have mentored a few myself over the years who are now old enough to head out on their own!  Great stuff and fine shooting!  It's a great feeling to fill the freezer and help feed the family.

We love to read stories and see pictures.  Tell us more, and post up some pictures if you have them.
There are several of us on here that will help you post the pictures (if you need some help).
Congratulations on a fine season!

It would be great if you could post pics for me i have know clue how, i can E-mail them to you if that would work?

I just turned 16

The first doe i took in youth season was shot with a 45# static recurve self bow i made from Elm and a Bamboo arrow tipped with a Howard hill head on it.

The buck was taken with a 55# 21st century longbow with a BEMAN carbon shaft tipped with a STOS head, and the shaft had a weight tube so all in all the arrow was 533grains.

The next doe was taken also with the 21st century longbow and BEMAN arrow tipped with STOS head on it and this was a pass thru shot.

It's great to hear your doing so well and have been blessed this hunting season. Congratulations!

You just turned 16 and took your first Trad deer with a Static Tip Self Bow you made yourself! Add to that you've taken three Deer this season. That is AWESOME! I have no doubt we'll be enjoying stories of your adventures in Trad on an ongoing basis. You are surely a gifted and dedicated Trad Bowhunter/Archer. Well Done young man!   :clapper:    :clapper:    :clapper:

Great job!  Congratulations, you have a long  full bow hunting life ahead of you, enjoy!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

But i havent just taken three deer ive also taken 4 squirrels and a Woodchuck........(i stopped shooting squirrels because i was running out of arrows)
