Give me your thoughts on who makes the best short recurves. Thanks

Morrison Mini-14 ILF riser with "C" limbs = 56".

Shrew Lil Favorite = 54" or 56".

Both of these are GREAT bows!!! I'm sure there are other good ones out there too, but I am familiar with these two.

Jim Belcher had built a couple of super short "stalking" recurves that shot really well.  I just looked at his sight because I could not recall the name and did not see any.  He might have one though.  Its worth a try.

Not saying they are the best, as I haven't shot many short bows to make that statement, but Cascade bows are excellent IMO, they seem to specialise in the shorter gear and take pride in that fact.

Might be worth checking with Mike Mecredy @ Mad Dog Archery, a tradgang sponsor.  He also makes a mid-size 51" recurve.  He makes great bows and for a very reasonable price.

Take a look at Lee Hoots bows  "Lil Hoot" and / Anneewakee Archery "Addiction"  They are great performing bows and Lee's work is second to none!
