Bear hunt in 2 days!

Going to Northern Idaho for a black bear hunt on Thursday! I'm stoked!

I'll be with Weitas creek outfitters. Sounds like the weather is going to be awesome. 40's at night and 80's during the day.

This is my 1st fly away hunt.

Hey Jim, I think Idaho is the gem state isn't it? While you are on the prowl for black bear up there be sure to pick up some of that nice obsidian. With your skills that shiny black rock will make an awesome point! Good luck with the bear hunt, that 40s at night sure sounds good.

Just got a new camera so I'll be taking pics like crazy. Won't be able to post any till I get back though.

I think I'll take some flint knapping tools and some preforms to kill some time during the day.  

I was going to take a selfbow and  some stone heads but I'm going to just stick with my TD BW. Too much hassle to fly with. Maybe next time.

I'll be using 160 gr Snuffers on carbon shafts.

Well... it is done. What an amazing hunt. Don't have much time or a way to post pics but I will upon my arrival. I would do it again in a second!
