Crabapples

Anyone ever had much luck hunting over crabapple trees, there are several that are loaded around home. I seem to have better luck on persimmons, but then again, I hunt the persimmons more. Am I missing the action by not hunting the crabapples more?

I found a lone crabapple in my woods with alot of sign around it, thats my first day spot.

I hunt a pretty good size grove of crabapples and they have been more than generous to me over the years.  I have seen several large bucks in and around them.  The deer around where I hunt really seem to love them.
