I'm considering a Schafer Silvertip. Their website doesn't have a lot of pictures, especially the entire bow. Can any of you share pics. I'm looking for 58" lefty.
Thanks

Bowwild

Sorry about typo in title of post...should be Schafer.

Is this riser walnut action wood? What are the limb veneers? I wonder if they will use antler burrs provided by the buyer...I have lots of them.

Very nice thanks for sharing!

Here's mine, it shoots like a heat seeking missile

Mojo Rising

Mine is 60" @ 60#, the checkered grip is the way to go!

Beautiful bows!

The checkering does look very comfortable.

Hess, what wood is that highly figured riser?

Thanks for sharing guys -- you are moving closer to dropping the string on a ST.

Hey just ordered one from Dave and Beth, she will send you any amount of pics you need. Just give them a call or email. Really nice folks!

Your Chicken from McDonald's, Tyson Foods, or Perdue Farms spent most of it's life stuffed in a cage with three or four others, occupying a space about the size of a book page...None for me, thanks...

This thread was up a few days ago......but here is the bow again

It deserves to be shown again!

Good choice Roy.I have ordered a 58" lefty few months ago,I think it will be done in the first part of the next year;so I don't think about it,still too long time to wait.

Roy,they use 2 different ways to install the riser bolts. If you want to use your antlers bolts choose for the Dave pagel's style, because often they opt for Mojo Rising style that requires different knobs.

These pics are just what I needed to see! Thanks for the info and advice. I expect the test drive to arrive today. If I like it I will call and ask Beth to send pictures of different wood combos.

Just went thru this myself.  Beth sent me a ton of pics.  Current wait is around 9 months.

Here's my other 'tip.

Thanks for the pictures  folks.  I have done a lot of Trad Gang searches and seen many more pictures. I also contacted Beth and she sent me several also.

I ended up ordering a Silvertip -- now I have to wait until April, 2011.

I'm still scrounging around a bit to see if I can swing buying a used one to tide me over. A couple of fine folks have also contacted me about this but I haven't decided to buy a used one yet.
