Desert Hunter

Just wanted to drop a note and introduce myself. I have been shooting traditional archery most of my life and have been hunting with a traditional equipment in Arizona since I was 12. I have been checking out the site for a while now and I am very impressed with how much info is available and how willing everyone is to help each other out. Keep it up guys!

I'm rather new here, too, and would echo your good words about the site and posters. Welcome, Desert Hunter!

Desert Hunter, I agree with you.  I didn't even know about this site until about 6 months ago and in those 6 months I have learned more about trad archery than I had in the 30+ years I have been shooting...Shawn

I am in far East Mesa, probably a good 75 minutes  away (with perfect traffic).  However, there are a few other Tradgang members in your neck of the woods.  Check out the following two posts:

Glad you joined us.  I've been here since around March I think.  Its an apple a day or TradGang for me.  I'm surprised how open I've become to considering things (mostly technical) that I thought I had figured out long ago.    I'm sort of the mindset that there really isn't but one BEST way to skin a cat (probably my science training)  so the many different ideas here are very interesting and thought provoking. At the very least I've learned that some of the BEST ways I thought I had discovered long ago, might only be 2nd best!

Welcome. Nice to have you aboard.

Just don't listen to any crazy bushmen from up north.
May your next adventure lighten your heart, test your spirit, and nourish your soul.
