I have been shooting bows for 56 years, and today is our 51st wedding aniversity, and this is my 1,000 post on Tradgang.
My kinfolk in England were archers at the battle of Againcort. Several Denton's were bowmen.
I was 20 and Phyllis Ann was 19 when we got married, and I took my 70# Ben Pearson bow and arrows with us to Colorado on our Honeymoon. On our wedding day me, my best man and all my buddies went rabbit hunting with our bows.
I just created a web site here on TradGang called Arrow Adventures. Hope you will check it out. Ken

Ken and Phyllis Ann,
Congratulations on such an accomplishment of 51 years of marriage, Most of all that is a tremendous  testament to your dedication to each other.  1000 posts on Tradgang is very nice, but the example you both set for all to admire is something that is truly traditional.  When the relationships of our Great-Grandparents and Grandparents used to stay together through thick and thin("for better or worse").  My utmost admiration and respect goes out to both of you.
Thanks for setting a great example for us all to see.

Respectfully.

Congratulations!!
Those are definately accomplishments to be proud of.

Congratulations.

Ken congratulations...   :clapper:

We have a couple things in common, my wife Nancy and I have been also been married for 51 years last February 28th. The day after we got married was the last day of rabbit season so our Honeymoon got postponed for a day while I went hunting with my buddys...    :biglaugh:
