Any comments on what you think is the most visible fletching color or color combination for all aspects of bowhunting:

-Seeing the Arrow in flight
-Seeing the Arrow at impact/penetration or in an animal that is carrying the arrow.
-Finding the arrow on the ground after the shot including post-hit on an animal or simply finding a 'lost' arrow.

I've tried (white,  yellow, white/yellow, orange, etc.. and was considering making up some all pink (go ahead and insert jokes) fletched arrows, mainly for the purpose of seeing the arrow at impact on a game animal and finding the arrow shaft following impact.  It seems there is nothing else in the woods that resembles the color pink and it is very bright making it a good choice.

The chartreuse has always shown better under low light conditions for me period. Also, they are still pretty bright after passing through much more so than other colors.

Fl Pink
Fl Orange
Fl Chartreuse

These are the brightest colors.  Any combinations of these will show up when in flight and impacting an animal.  Different lighting and different visual backgrounds will impact how well you can see the arrow in flight.  Use reflective tapes with these colors to be able to find them at night.

Hey Terry,

You wanna turn down the brightness a bit.  I had to put on my sunglasses! ;0)  Those pics say it all.

I have been using fl pink, but I am switching to the chartreuse because I am actually having trouble seeing the pink in flight.

My son has been using flo pink since day one. We can see them in low light pretty good. The upside is no one keeps his arrows so he gets them back.I also like flow green for nocks with white fletch.

Pink works for these old eyes...

Last big trad event I was at I noticed pink seemed to be fairly trendy.  Gets harder and harder to find my arrows in the lost arrow bucket (not that I lose a lot of arrows).

Pink feathers and white or yellow nocks works best for me...

Personally, I like white, orange or yellow only because it works for me. If I needed more, I might add a fur tracer to the nock end. If you hunt from a blind, it is easier to hide the fletch than if your moving, and they type of quiver your using.

I just did these with Chartruese parabolics that I bought at Compton from Sagittarius archery, these are so bright that they almost are glow in the dark! Great feahter for $22.00 a 100!

I like white and gray for hunting. They blend in while hunting and I can see them in flight as good as any other color.

Chartreuse for me with white being my second choice.

With my eyes, in low light conditions of first and last light, nothing beats white fletching. I've tried the others such as hot pink, yellow, chartruese, orange and they all tend to disapper color wise under low light conditions. This is why I've been fletching my arrows for decades with white feathers.

I've always leaned towards the pink and white combo since nobody had that color combo for fear of being called something other than manly. This batch I think I'm going with pink and chartreuse 4 fletch bananas.
