Midwest Get Together - change of date

This is posted on a couple other sites and someone suggested I post it here as well -


A couple years back a few of us from some of the trad bowhunting sites got together for a couple days of eating some good food, campfires and a little stump shooting in the woods near our cabin in northern MI. A number of guys asked me about it this past January at the Trad Expo in Kalamazoo and we decided to try to do another. The dates are Sept 9 and 10 and will once again be at our cabin near Luther, MI.


Obviously this is open to anyone. We just hang out, eat, shoot and talk about anything and everything.

Details will be worked out down the road but if you're interested, shoot me an email and we'll stay in touch. We'd love to have ya!

How is the squirrel hunting up there?  You just might see myself and my almost 7 year old that weekend.  It all depends on when our Michigan Longbow Association squirrel hunt is.

Hey Chuck,
How's everything?  I thought I might run into you at the Jamboree over the weekend, but never did see you.  Saturday was great, Sunday was pretty soggy.  Luther isn't too far away - might try to make it also.  Maybe I'll bump into you at Elm Hall (you going?) and will talk to you more about it then.

I will be camping at the Elm Hall shoot with my family.  I really like that club.  They put on a great rabbit hunt also in the winter.

Hey Ron ... yeah, missed the Jamboree. I'm thinking I will be at Elm Hall, might take my daughter and grandsons. (should be interesting   :p ) If we do go, we'll probably go early on Friday.

I STILL remember your caribou story - that was a LONG time ago!    

I'll keep you posted ... there may end up being a change in the dates. One of the guy's daughter is getting married on the Sat after those dates above and she's probably not into changing the date of her wedding.

Yeah, don't miss those times with your kids Todd. Time goes so fast. There would have been other times for get togethers.
And yeah, send me an email - we'd be love to have you if you can make it. The group of guys coming are a real bunch of characters.

Hey Jeff - send me an email if you're interested. We're about a mile and a half west of Luther on 3 1/2 Mile road. As a matter of fact, headed up there right now with the grandkids!
