FREEDOM IS NOT FREE

I am amazed at the numbers.  I love this thread. I am not an officer. My son in law is.  I thank God there are people willing to ENFORCE the law on those that need it for the benefit of all.  I appreciate all of you.  I'm glad we have traditional archery as just one common interest.

Probation-Parole Officer here, 22 years total, the first 13 years spent in an Adult Correctional facility as a CO, the rest has been outside on the street. It sure does tint the hair a bit silver!!!

I get income from dealing with the public in their worst times... I think I qualify to be in your club. Public Safety is this great idea... where you combine Police, Fire and EMS. That way I can do all the hero jobs in one... 15 more years and I wont have to do it anymore. Stay safe.
No hunter should feel guilty for killing a deer that doesnt meet someone else's expectations.

Somebody (smarter than me) count up the number of LEO/Public safety guys on these posts. It would be interesting to see the number of Tradgangers that are also in the profession.

Bud B.

How'd I miss this one?????

Almost 23 years in a municipal police agency here.

I retire in less than two, as long as I don't use sick time  :)

This thread is appropriate. Not an officer here but my best hunting buddy recently retired (chief) from a dept. in Ohio. I sincerely appreciate you guys and gals.   :wavey:
The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.

9 years in. I'm with the Ontario Provincial Police up here in Canada. Always amazed at how many coppers are into traditional bowhunting....

Just started with Nashville Tennessee PD. After 19 years in the work force, I must say I never thought I could look forward to heading to work as I do now working the streets.
