Here are the bows that will hunt with me in Wyoming this fall. Both are sinew and rawhide backed osage and 60@ 26''. One is 52'' the other 62''. I have an elk tag now and should draw the antelope and mule deer in July.

Mike, are you not at Cloverdale?

Bows are sweet, for sure as always!

Not doing any shoots this year, I am hunting every chance I can get. I have been making as many shoots I could for the past 12 years and decided this year that I was going to hunt that hard. Cloverdale was the one that I hated to miss the most.

Hi Mike, Since I'm selfbow challenged (I've never shot or seen one other than pictures) I was curious why you put rawhide and sinew on the back of the bow. I thought you used one or the other. Excuse my ignorance. Gary

Waaaa! Mikie!!!!!

Does that mean I won't get to see you during the coolest weekend in July this year?

Do you consider MoJam a shoot or just a 3 day bow building party topped off with HDFH and one of the best free feeds ever?( I hope the later) The amazing aroma of microwaved Osage Orange wafting down the hill as the mist o' spray  out of the back of our buddy"the Fireman's" big red truck.
The melodious sounds of a friendly Scotsman at daybreak letting all know the day is beginning and its time to get up. (It's almost as good as your local motels wake-up calls.)

You'd miss a trip down to the valley to watch as a virtual  flower garden of color erupt around a very small havie target minding its own business out in the middle of a huge open field. I can almost hear all the oohs and aahs as a long line of archers loose their arrows creating a sight that would cause any advancing front line of attackers back up.

Shoot if I keep thinking about it I'll have to drive over there and camp out until it starts..lol

Hope to see you there!

God bless,Mudd

Gary,
I put the rawhide over the sinew to cover the sinew and to give me something to do the artwork on.
Mudd,
I can't make it to MOJAM either, we have had a bunch of fun haven't we.

Dang Mike,

Going to miss you out on the show trail this year.  Good luck on the hunting though.  That does sound like more fun.

Hey in the future if you need a bow just give us a call instead of going to all that work.  LOL

Me and Jerry will be doing the deer and antelope like always then I leave from his place and go to the Yellowstone area for the elk. Jerry only kills cows now in the late hunt, says he has killed enough bulls and they are too much work. We sure have a ball on the deer and antelope though.
Nice mulie in your picture there Shedrock.
Mike, I can always use a new bow!

Good Hunting! Mike.

Will miss seeing you at MOJam but hunting is better use of time. Looking forward to reading about you adventures.
