I finally got around to take some pictures of my newest Lost Creek. Chad hit another home run with this one.
It's 58", 48 @ 27. I had originaly wanted Chad to make it with the grip that I had on my last 2.
I told Chad that I had bought the black bow from a member here and he asked if I wanted to try it first to see if I liked the longer heel. He said that he thought I may like it. I'm glad thet I took his advice. I loved the grip on the black bow and Chad put this type on my new one.
It arrived here Saturday and it felt like an old friend. I shot it Sunday at our 3D shoot and did very well with it.
I did notice that it seemed faster than my other Lost Creeks and although I'm not big into speed, I shot it through the chrony Sunday evening. I first shot my 520 grn carbons and it was doing 180 fps. I then shot my wifes 417 grn carbons and it was a consistent 200 fps. The numbers are from 3ft and an average of 5 arrows each. I pulled to 28 inches in the testing.
My other LCs aren't slow by any means but this one is 5 to 7 fps faster and they all are the same draw weight.
Chad sure is building a fine bow. 4 Lost Creeks now live here, a 60", 58" and 2 56".I don't need another bow but I have to try one of those 54" NATs!

Here's all 4 of them. My wife took possesion of the top 56" so I just have the bottom 3.

That is a *nice* lookin' bow Brad!

Looks like it shoots real well too - that's always a comforting thang!

Enjoy!

Beautiful bow. I really like the riser combination. Looks like she shoots pretty straight too.      :clapper:

I'll tell ya, for some reason those Lost Creeks are fast! Mine does 182 fps with a 515 gr arrow, at 48 lb draw. Speed is not the end all for me either, but Chad combines it with a smooth pull, super comfy grip and beauty.

BCWV, what are those woods, particularly the limb cores? Mine are maple, but I'm itchin to try boo in my next one.

The cores on all 4 are bamboo. The veneers on this one is maple and the riser is, I think, McCallester ebony. I may be wrong on that and I'm sure if it is right, I spelled it wrong! I am sure that it's gorgeous. Chad sure puts it all in a great package for sure.
Chads bows just fit me good and shoot where I look. Thanks for the kind words fellas.
Hey WV lungbuster,
Are you going to ATAR in July? Chads supposed to be there with some bows and I'll let you shoot mine anytime brother.

Lost Creek Bows

Brad, I'm glad you are liking the bows.  I have messed with a takedown some but its still in the works. Its very slow going, still tring to feel bow orders. I guess, that's a good thing. I have three models of longbows and a short recurve. Oh, did I say three longbows. I guess ,I let the cat out of the bag. Well,I have the Original Lost Creek. I call it "Life Ender" Its from 58" to 60". I have the New N.A.T its 54"to 56" and then, the other new "2010" model is for you archers who have a long draw or likes a longer bow. It's from 60" to 64" and its not as radical on the Reflex or the Deflex but still shoots very smooth with plenty of speed and very little shock. The draw is butter smooth, and very quiet. I haven't got it named yet as I'm looking for a special name as it's a very special bow.I'm trying to cover all the archer's needs with bows of any draw weight and bow lengths. So now, I feel I have it pretty well covered with bows ranging from 54" to 64"not a easy task but it done. And That's why I added this new longer Lost Creek model to the line up. I feel this bow completed the Lost Creek line up. Thanks Chad

Nice bow & congrats. Anyone thinking of trying a LC should do it. I have one of the original longbows and as of a couple weeks ago a 54" NAT that is now my #1 bow. LOVE IT. Warning, if you try one you will buy one so beware.

helo,
I'll need another complete set of bows when Chad get the TD model up and running. One set for home and the TD set for travel.

I hope to make it to ATAR in July, but have an unpredictable work schedule. If I do make it I will look ya up.
