I wanted to thank Scott Mitchell for the superb job he did with my custom recurve which arrived today.

The specs are 56" 53@28".  Riser Cocobola/Zebra, with Zebra wood veneers on back of limbs, and  Cedar on front of limbs.  Back overlays of maple/zebra/cocobola are a quite striking combination.

I can't believe how well this little 56" bow handles!!  It shoots and feels like a 60" bow.  It is fast too... I chronographed my 480 grain hunting arrow at 162 FPS, with my 27 1/2 draw, which is almost equal to my new TTines and DAS bows.

The bow is smooth and forgiving and just a pleasure to shoot.  It is not "shocky" like a lot of shorter bows that I've experienced.  I kept thinking, "Man,this just can't be a SAWED-OFF bow".     :archer:

Scott's craftmanship and customer service are exemplary in every way.  This bow is going to be a keeper for sure.  Great bows, great prices and a gem of a guy to work with!     :clapper:

Your right Dave, I would like one with shelf on the other side. But still a good looking bow!!!!!
