I want to share my thoughts about my new Tall Tines Recurve bow, as I have been meaning to do so for some time. SPECS are 58" 51@28"

Here are my first impressions of the bow and it's shooting characteristics:

CUSTOMER SERVICE - I have been pretty lucky to have had excellent customer service on most of my custom bows.  But I must say that Brian Wessel is a man of great integrity and he really "walks the talk" with respect to going the extra mile to deliver awesome customer service!  A++

GRIP - I had asked Brian to go a size smaller on the handle and make just a few changes from his standard handle layout.  With a little assistance from me on how I wanted it... he nailed it completely.  10 of 10!! With his unique locator, my hand seems to find a very repeatable and comfortable grip. The grip is the single most important trait for me and this one is just great.

FIT/FINISH - Excellent, and I love the beautiful "nasty" bucote limbs.

HAND SHOCK - Or should I say absolute absense of it or STACKING, shoots smooth as butter.

SHOOTABILITY - The extra mass weight in the dymondwood riser really seems to help me get to my anchor and get a good solid sight picture and good release.

I am shooting AD Tradlights with 150 grains upfront, total arrow weight around 480 grains and they fly very well.  My accuracy is improving with this bow already and it's pretty forgiving of my bad releases or flaws in form, that is a BIG PLUS.  I don't shoot it as well yet as some of my other bows, but I surely think that I may be able to some time soon, as I spend some more time with the pretty girl!

SPEED - I list this last, because speed isn't real helpful if all the above don't measure up; that's just my own viewpoint.

Well, I must say that I knew this bow smoked an arrow, but I chronographed it today and it is defenitely a demon.  At my 27 1/2" draw, 28 1/2 hunting arrows of 480 grains, it sends them downrange at 160+ FPS.  That's EVEN with my DAS bows and I'd imagine it will pretty much meet or exceed 98% of the bows out there in the market place.

Oh DID I MENTION THAT THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL CRAFTED WOOD BOW?? Not a metal risered bow????  Here's your sign TRADITIONALISTS!!          :readit:

In closing I'd like to just thank Brian for a tremendous bow and recognize this young talented bowyer for making a great recurve bow.

Yep, can't say much more than that...great bows, great guy.  I have never seen a guy bend over backwards for the customer like Brian; he is doing things the right way.
