I received my first bow today a bear grizzly. Long story short, I love it. This is going to be somewhat difficult I see but I love the challenge.

Chances are, you'll be hooked in no time.
Stay with it, it's extremely satisfying once it starts coming together. Good luck!

Last year when i took up trad archery i couldnt hit the broad side of a barn, no kidding.

I went and got some lessons from Rod Jenkins and i have to say i am a pretty darn good shot.

Practice practice practice and use good form and it will all come together.

Well done on getting your first bow. Now the fun begins.

Welcome to the club, stick with it.  I am under a year in and know I will never look back.  Way to much fun on this side.

Always remember the "FUN" you had today!!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways-BOW in one hand-ARROWS in the other-Body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming-WOO HOO! WHAT A RIDE!

I've been at it for a while but didn't dedicate myself to it until I found TradGang.
I try to scan PowWow every morning and every evening just to see what I may have missed while away.
And when I run into an interesting topic, the search button can keep me busy for hours on end.

challenge is what keeps me interested in trad.

The Bear Grizzly is a pretty good bow, there are two of them in our family.  you got your next bow on order yet? Have fun with it. This is supposed to be fun, I think.
