just bought one of these on auction. it is 45#@28" for 202.00. not sure of the limb/riser wood. i have been on their website so have some info on these bows.
what are your experiences?

Mohillbilly

Very nice bow, and you got a steal.  Good job, you'll like it.

bogeyrider63

good buy, i was watching the same auction. look's like you scored a good deal.

I'll give you $203 sight unseen...  :bigsmyl:

Really nice bows and a great deal to boot. I love the locator grip on most of the "50's style" recurves - they just work for me and I have several different makes from a bunch of different bowyers. I'm mostly a longbow shooter, so these are the only recurves that I can really get in to. Good luck with it.
Is it September yet?!

thanks guys. needed a lower bow poundage because of shoulder issues. may have to sell my checkmate falcon.
will have to see how the kota shoots first.
still seeking some shooting/hunting experiences with kota bows......

PICKNGRIN

i just picked up one here on Tradgang last winter.  It is 48# @ 28".  Shot it in our weekly winter trad league.  I am very pleased with the bow.  Very easy to get used to and hits where I am looking.  Speed seems to be right up there too.  Mine likes 1916's.

thankyou-
i shoot woodies so will need to go down in spine some, hoping it is a smooth shooter. i love to hunt but just love to get out in the yard with my 12 year old son and fling some arrows.

Good deal for sure! I've got one that I really like!
