Are people really that desperate!

I saw this ad in Peterson's Bowhunting magazine today. They send this magazine out free to me for some reason. Anyway, the ad says that we are emitting electromagnetic fields and the game we are after are picking it up. The "6th Sense" we sometimes believe the animals posses.

They are selling this fabric called the Human Energy Concealment System (HECS) Energy Cloak. You can buy a nice 3 piece suit with pants, long sleeve shirt and head cover!

Are you kidding me!!! I really hope people aren't that stupid and desperate. Beam me up Scotty!

I just shower with energy absorbent soap( LAVA brand)

.It takes all my energy away...LOL People will buy anything that will compensate for patience and skills.

Hey Terry, maybe they should make sleeping bags outa that stuff. Then the rest of our camping partners won't make a fuss if we eat a lot of broccoli and beans with dinner. :eek:

Bowhunting gone all New Age-y ... Maybe there will be crystals to insert in pockets to put out a vibe to draw the critters. Sheesh!!!

How will this effect my compass? This may be true the last deer I shot looked shocked when the arrow hit-em.

I've always figured any critter I kill needs to be deaf and dumb.

But Maybe in addition to gettin this huge 5'8" 155lb physique dad also gave me cloaking abilities too!!

When it was winter here I used to go around chucking thousands of magnets in the woods so the animals wouldn't feel my fields. Now, thanks to HECS Energy Cloak, I save my self thousands of dollars and hours of work!

I'm with you Terry. My electromagnetic field must have short cicuited when I shot that 1800# moose at 6 steps.

I first heard about this at the Hunting and Fishing Show in Hartford, CT a couple of weeks ago. A bowhunter was giving a seminar and mentioned this was 'on the horizon' and to 'watch for articles.' With all due respect to a gentleman who has taken animals on several continents and made a living out of bowhunting, I chuckled to myself...

The way I see it, if you want to bowhunt with that thing on, and it DID work, you mind as well just save yourself the hundreds it will cost and bring your 30-odd out to the field sighted in for 200 yds in your favorite jeans and t-shirt and drop one like my grandpa (RIP Grandpa) did for so many years. At that point, your meat gathering, not hunting... just my humble opinion.

I am pretty sure that is what Froto used in his cloak in Lord of the rings.Worked great agaist those Orks so should work well for other critters.

I'm going to hang magnets all over my ghillie suit..and then I'll need a tank to pull my heavy butt out of any mud I happen to step in.
The magnets will be heavy, but what will really sink me is the 4 gallons of "scent away", the 2 gallons of "doe in heat" spray, the quart of "fox urine" and a few pounds of crystals in my pockets.
The really heavy part is my Pyramid shaped lead and crystal ground blind, it only weight 850lbs.
The pyramid shape focuses chi and energy from nature so the deer and hogs will think I am a tree....
God how did my dad and grandpa ever kill anything sitting in a stand smoking cigarettes and drinking coffee from a thermos and eating butter and onion sandwiches wearing farm clothes....
