Bow    - Howard Hill, 70lbs at 28"

Arrows - Arrow Dynamics Traditional Series
           Carbon Shafts, Traditional Wood
            (recomended by you guys)

Spec   -   Grain 325g ñ7 95 lb.  250
          (?whatever this means?)

That is the shaft that was recomended for a 70lb bow on the 3Rivers website.

I was just wondering what broadhead & what WEIGHT you guys recomend for my setup as I have 0 experience.

I will be hunting deer, bear & moose, if I ever get drawn

Thanks

I shoot a Hill @ 70,but I use wood and a 160gr. Hill head,My arrows total weight 600+.If you google Stu Millers dynamic spine calculator and download it you can get an idea what the almost perfect set up would be.Or you can wait for Rob or Bjorn to give you the answer. They have tons of experience and will hook you up.

With that bow and arrow combo pretty much any head you want to shoot.  Arrow Dynamics are very tolerant of varying weights.  Pick your poison.  I would say you could shoot a total weight of 150 to 225 grain head and get great flight.

I shoot a 78# @ 29" Howard Hill Wesley Special, and use 30" valley-of-nock-to-back-of-point 95/100# Douglas fir arrows from  www.surewoodshafts.com  with 160 grain STOS broadheads upfront. They weigh about 700 grains in total. This set-up works exceptionally-well, and has proven effective on two big boars and a sow.
