Hog Picture Thread!!

All this thread has done for me is tell me that we need to move to hog country! I love to hunt them when I can, but most of my "trips" are for other things. Would love to have the luxury of heading to the woods locally and have hogs on the agenda... Most of it around well everywhere I've lived is small game... Fun, but chasing the "poor man's grizzly" on a more routine basis would be awesome!

I jealous of a lot of you guys! Thanks for sharing your adventures!

Awesome...looks like so much fun..

So I guy like me from Canada...what would I have to do to hunt them.

Could I get a licence? or do you have to go with a guide?

Is there hog hunting in june to aug?

No closed season or limit here in Texas. Just need a license.

My good friend Joe Coots and I with a nice hog. Bow was Hill style 65#, 2219 aluminum arrow with Magnus I w/bleeder.

Same hog... not the best shot but it worked

Hunting with my buddy Curtis on his farm. Got this red hog with my Howard Gamemaster 63#, Woodsman broadhead with razorblades glued on.

Here are three big pigs from Oz. I was shooting my buffalo setup so had more than enough horsepower for the pigs - 75lb Black Widow, 1080 gr arrow with modified 160 gr STOS head. These pigs went 10ft, 5ft, and 25 yards respectively after the shot.

These guys all had BIG cutters, but I don't have a good pic of the hog with the biggest tusks, he died on a meat ant nest and just getting the head was hard enough to deal with, forget the pics.

The trip to Australia was worth it just for the hogs!

Those pigs have some nice teeth. Is it true that those Aussies don't eat them?
