I just finished reading Barry Wensels new book and it is very well written and made me laugh alot. Great Hunting stories are many, also plenty of information on how to if you read between the lines. I would recommend this for any hunters library. Gene also has a new book out which is an excellent read too,I bought both books in leather bound limited edition and they were well worth the money. Hats off to the Wensels.

I don't hunt whitetail, and frankly have little interest in doing so. Nonetheless, I eagerly look forward to reading those books. I just can't imagine having a hunting bookshelf without books by the Wensels.

Roose...LOTS of stuff other than whitetails in Barry's book.

That's great to hear! I'll definitely be placing an order. Thanks.

(BTW, I hope it's understood that in no way am I looking down my nose at whitetails. The simple truth is that whitetails are primarily found on the other side of the state from where I live. Muleys and blacktails are just much closer to home.)

Jim, you are right on, Genes book is an excellent read too. I will have to stop over next time I go to Lamonts, Ron.

I don't think anyone's library of hunting books will be complete without these two books.

I am about 100 pages in to Barry's book.I am enjoying it very much.I always thought I put a lot in to my hunting until I read Mikes book and now Barry's.
My new favorite sentence of all time is in Biggie's forward."either way you will get good footage."There is more to it of course but that just struck me as being a hilarious!

Barry told me why you haven't received a copy yet Gene, but I'm sworn to secrecy!
