The first bird is a big deal...almost as big as getting a deer. You did well. Took me many years to get my first bird.

Yippie!! Way to go Dave! How cool is that? Way!!
I'd be surprised if you told me that it wasn't the MOAB that helped put turkey on the table.
I do have to say.. it ain't over yet. The fat lady hasn't sung! Now maybe you've run out of time but I didn't think about that because as that ole radio announcer from Springfield used to say "If you're too busy to go(fishing/hunting) then you're just way too busy.
Congratulations!
God bless,Mudd
PS Lord willing, I'll see you Sunday.

I understand how you feel about no deer this year. I'm paddling in the same boat. Saw lots of turkeys within 10 yards, but where I hunt, ya' can't shoot 'em. So I'm gonna just sit back an anticipate next year.
Congrats on the new bow and drawing first blood on the bird.

I'll bring a pot of tag soup Sunday. Got to go now. Have to soak the tag in salt water.to get it ready.

Hope next season is better.
Congratulations on the turkey!!!
