I'm not doing a very good job of showing what these bows can do this season, but my buddy Brian Wessel is continuing on with his stellar year.  Brian filled one of his Iowa resident buck tags yesterday morning with this old bruiser.

Brian had the buck aged locally at 6 1/2 and is going to send out a tooth to have that confirmed.  He's get some sheds from this buck and this trail camera picture from last November:

Brian is one of those guys that illustrates "luck" comes from hard work, preparation, and attention to detail        .

He's very impressive Brian nice work. Always great to take a very mature deer off your own land.

Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

George...that may be the first thing you and I argree on   :biglaugh:

Brian really puts his heart into everything he does and he is a heck of a hunter.  I love to see those big, thick necked bucks.  Like you in PA, I don't have any access to them here in Michigan either.

pseman

That is an awesome buck! Great tine length especially those brow tines.

It doesn't matter how or what you shoot, as long as you hit your target.
