I can't offer any of you antler soup just yet, but the grill will be on this evening! At 7:30  this morning I had a group of 4 doe come in with no bucks following. So, the lead doe presented a broadside shot at 22 yards. I gave a soft mouth grunt to stop her, picked a spot--drew back my Tip and waited until I heard the sound of my clickety-clicker which reassurd the fact that I hit my anchor spot--Drop the string and watched my arrow hit it's mark. Great morning to be hunting here in Michigan.

Bow of choice on this hunt was my battle tested Silvertip t/d curve, 56#@28". Grizzlystik Alaskan arrow and a VPA 160gr head on the business end.

Kevin,

Congratulations!  I carried my Silvertip in the mountains of wild and wonderful WV last week.  Unfortunately, the 26 deer I saw were not in the woods with my bow in my hands.  I saw 22 while driving Turkeybone Road from the camp to our hunting sites and beyond.  I saw a big 4-pt buck while sitting on the front porch of the cabin about 1115 in the morning and three big doe the night before we left about 100 yards down the road from the cabin in the front yard of another cabin.

I still had a great hunt.  For the first time in four years I was able to get out and enjoy the glory of God's creation in WV!
