Hi!
I just received a brand new BD super swift today.
It`s a AMO 64 45@28 and I`m wondering about where to start the brace height for tuning.
Thanks

What limbs do you have? I've discussed this quite a bit with Sid and the hexV limbs are designed to be shot with a low brace height. ( as low as 7")

Yes we must have pic's I'm waiting on mine, it should be about done, cant wait! I'm getting a 62" Black Douglas Super Swift triple carbon spine with a Haritage midnight and haritage walnut riser, Hex5-w limbs.  I think 7 1/2" will be in the neighborhood for the Hex5's.

Just received my first Border, too--a Super Swift Hex-5 H 64" 48@29 1/2.  The bow is gorgeous!  I asked Sid about brace height, and he suggested a starting point 7-7.75".  I have a hand injury so am on the sideline and won't be able to shoot for a few weeks.  But I would be interested in others' experiences with BH.

Hunting was hazardous, but at least it guaranteed the freedom of the individual.

Finally some pics  :)
Sorry for the quality but I did shoot them with my cellphone.
I tested the bow today and GT 5575 fly like darts. They are cut to 30" with 3 gr. pr " weight tubes and 145grains fieldtip.
This is a fast accurate bow  :bigsmyl:

Not just good looking either....  :)  I shot it the other night, it is one quick bow... and can you say SMOOOOOOOTH?
I built some full metal jackets 340 spine with 75 grain inserts and 125 grain points, cut to 30" They flew perfectly out of this 45# Black Douglas...  and I shoot them outa my 53# Black Widow.....
Stand up and say it loud: I am a gap-shooter and proud!
(Although I sometimes use the force)
