I called this rutting Bull out on Sept.29,09 .He was in full rut and only took a couple of cow calls to bring him out. He is part of a small herd of  protected White Moose about 55 miles west of Timmins.I have also seen a couple of cows and a calf over the years.

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

May be a silly question, but why are the white moose protected?  Just curious.

Hi Tom;
            This small herd is near Foleyet, close to the groundhog   river.Good to hear from you.

SERGIO VENNERI

Bob; The white moose are protected because of their rarity i suppose.The fault in that kind of management is that you can shoot a brown Moose in the same unit and it may be carrying the recessive gene.

Hey, if he was quartering away a bit, you could aim at the "spot"!

Get rid of the shoulder hump in that pic and he'd look like a horse at a glance.

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.

The pics are great, one of those rare moments for sure.

Thanks Fella's; Here are a couple more pics.   These are some pics hanging in a restaurant in the little town of Foleyet.   Heres a pic of My brotherinlaw Paul,standing next to a mount of a white Bull, that was mounted after a collision with a train.Paul does not hunt , but is probably the best Walleye fisherman that i know!!   :notworthy:
      I should clarify that these are not albino's,i believe they are probably piebalds.
