i don't have any photos to put up but i normally just wear drab colours khaki olive green etc no scent blokes lol just ask bmlongshot we hunt together and we both smell a bit funky after a few days hunting

I have shot as much game not wearing camo as when wearing it.  My filson coat is that sort of camo, problem is, it doesn't match anything other than bark. I do wear a face mask to cover either my white beard or my rosy cheeks most of the time this year. I really don't think it matters for deer, but turkeys can see that I don't have a turkey tag in my billfold.  Boy are they in for a surprise the next time I go out.

to the guys wearing flannel, you basically are wearing camo because the plaid breaks up the pattern/shape of the body which is what the point of camo is isnt it

i rarly wear camo, sometimes the pants becouse of the pockets! i use a cover scent some times. thelast few years i have played the wind and in my opnion it is VITAL to seeing deer! i do not suggest blue jeans however becouse of the noise they make and they do not dry fast. ihave PLENTY of flannel if ya need any?
Preflex,
i do not wear camo becouse i think the price is OUTRAGEOUS and RIDICULOUS, plaid blends just as well.

Cover scents, carbon clothing or not, if the wind is wrong, you'll get busted.  It's an enormous marketing scheme and a big waste of money in my opinion.  I don't always wear camo either but, like most of the other guys, try to wear drab clothing and/or plaids.  When I do wear camo it's typically because what I have that's suitable for the weather is oftentimes camo wool coats, etc..

Cody, great question. Since commiting to trad gear only I have started questioning some of the other aspects of my hunting including camo etc.

As of right now yes on the camo for the most part. It's all I have but am looking for wool at my local GoodWill all the time.

No way on the cover scents of the scent eliminator stuff.

I used cover-up scents years ago but not any more. Doesn't matter how much stuff you put on, if the wind is wrong, your busted. I do wear camos.

I wear camo if leaving the house to bowhunt.I do it for me,not the deer.I can buy camo cheaper on sale and it has more pockets and stuff than most other things. It is usually better suited for hunting by design instead of just color.I don't use cover scents.I find going in clean and useing the wind the better option.

I dont use cover scents. I have some camo pants and bibs that I use. They are older and faded really bad so they dont stand out real well(skyline and treebark). The camo nowadays is so real looking that if there arent any leaves on the trees I think it is worse than not wearing it. Its hard to blend in with the leaves if there arent any.....Roy

Some of my clothes are camo, maybe half. I pick what is right for the temperature and weather more than colors.

No calls, no scents , no attractants.

Nothing WRONG with camo IMHO, its just not the mandatory item some think (few here Im sure).

Only mandtory thing for ME is I darken the skin on my face. I tend to move too much and it helps me get busted less.... or I feel it does, lol.

I don't use cover scents and don't hold any stock in scent killers. I will put out some doe in heat here in a few weeks.   ;)   My bibs are soft fleece camo, but I bought them because they're insulated and they were 50% off! I wear a brown/black plaid shirt over my wool long undershirt.

Yup, me too. Only difference being (I guess) I do use scent free products. Not cover ups, not blockers, just common sense hygiene with unscented soaps.

I do where camo's ghillie or ASAT.But I've deer hunted for 40 years and only ground hunt for the last 5 years. No matter what you try to hide your sent with it won't work. You must learn to use the wind at all times.
You don't see fox trappers spraying down there fox sets with scent killer.
