I also posted this in your thread in Product Reviews.

QuoteI'm very happy with my quiver from Mike's Archery Leather. Top quality work, and a TradGang sponsor. Make sure you order a matching arm guard at the same time!

d, I have found a great hunting back quiver made by Nate Steen--he goes by Sunset Hill here.  Many well made quivers out there but too many are made to look great and heavy duty but don't work well in actual hunting.  They often are too stiff to bend and conform to your body properly. The result is a quiver that makes too much noise and never really becomes part of you.  Nate's quiver needed no break in as it fitted to my back from the beginning.

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;

How do you guys cary broadheads in these back quivers? Do they make 3-blade sheaths, like for woodsmans?

For what you want get in touch with Steve Catts, Leathersmith,  www.hidehandler.com.   He made the show quiver that Byron Ferguson wears in his shows.  Steve's work can't be beat for beauty or quality.

goldfinger, yes, I carry broadheads in my back quiver just as hunters did for many centuries   ;)  They don't do well with multi blade heads IF they are collapsing properly around your arrows as a good quiver should.  The reason people complain that they are noisy and hang up in the brush is that they are using quivers that do not properly conform to the back and haven't developed the style of sliding the quiver under the bow arm when going through/under brush.  That becomes second nature when you get experience using a back quiver.  I love them and have fewer issues with them than any other quiver. But they must be properly made and used just like anything else.

It's hard to beat one of Mike G's backquivers!  Great quiver and a ridiculously low price for what you get!!

Steve Catts made me this one. All of his quivers can handle broadheads:

Mikes's Archery Leather.  I have one of his 4" hunter quivers and matching armguard.  Very nice.

I don't believe American Leathers is making quivers any more.  May be wrong but I have tried to bring up quivers on their site and get nothing.

Eric and Killi,

Those quivers have to be the best I've seen.  I checked out Mike's web site........great stuff.

I believe I know what I'll be ordering this weekend (after I get back from the treestand!).

Thanks for sharing.
