I like Smart Wool.  Try their website and you will have a number of selections to review.

I'm with Claudia , Smart wool is the way to go, I have used it for years in all types of climate, mostly cold and wet.

Jason, we get issued Smartwool, and it may be the cheapest of the other brands- but Arcteryx and Icebreaker brands are good too.  I like the Smartwool as its made in the USA, and I can pick up socks at the same time.

Smart wool works great for me. Be sure to buy some of their socks they are really nice and last forever.

I have a vote for smartwool, it works, fits next to skin, I also have there neck gaitor goes well with the longjohns. Haven't tried woolpower herd lots of good things seems a bit thicker than smartwool, for those cold sits on stand.

Google-up merino wool underwear.  There is a big price difference between much of it.  Remember, you don't need to spend your week's salary to keep warm.

My wife bought me ulfotte last year, and man what a differace, was out in -20 with it and ron's shirt, wool bibs and muck boots, didn't get cold.  here is the site now woolpower.

I use the Ulfrotte it's also called Woolpower. Check out 3 Rivers, they sell it.
Awesome stuff!
I also just bought some First Lite. I will have it next week. I will give a update. It's a little cheaper then Woolpower, and has a higher percentage of Merino wool. Suppose to be even softer on the skin.

I took a look at the smart wool site, SHEESH!! 75 dollars just for the lowers. Now, I realize quality costs more, but I have to tell you, I can buy Duofold heavy weight Merino wool lowers for 23 dollars.  Is Smartwool 50 dollars better?

I have been very happy with my Duofold longhandles.
