A.S.

It had been a slow 1st week for me until last evening. About 4:00 I had a red fox come in to about 8 yards. He was entranced with sniffing my boot track. That cost him! I made a perfect shot and pinned him to the ground.

I drug him away from my stand, and got ready again. After a couple close calls on does, I had two bucks come in at about 6:30. I took a shot on the 1st one at about 15 yards. The shot looked a tad low, so I left him until this morning....even though I thought I heard him crash. Went back this morning and found him right where I thought he should be. He made it about 150 yards.

Shot them with my Silvertip, Axis FMJ, and Snuffer SS.

12 ring on a live fox...unbelievable!      :notworthy:

It's a good thing you hit him there or I would have made fun of your pink Eichler fletchings. Dang it now I can't. For those of you that don't know Allen is truely deadly with a stickbow on the 3-D range.

Glad to see the Tip get its first blood. I told you they have the MOJO. Glad to see you two bond.

Congrats bro

Thanks guys! Feels god o get the season off to a good start.

Maxwell, I'm shooting the FMJ 500's cut to 28" with a 125gr Snufer SS. These are wesome shafts, some of the straightest that I have ever crested. They seem to be pretty tough so far. That fox rolled around on the one while it had him pinned to the dirt. I was sure it would be trashed, but it was not damaged at all.

I haven't found the one that I shot the deer with. Gotta go back tomorow and look for it.

Thanks again TJ. Not quite the same as that giant that you shot, but it's a start.

It's time to try out the ACS now.  :bigsmyl:
