Hey all:

I normally do most of my posting in the knife area but here goes.

How many of us Tradgangers are members of the Professional Bowhunters Society? And furthermore who is going to Nashville?

I also feel the need to through out that I am a member of YBP (Young Bowhunter Program), a group that takes the youth that attend the banquette with their parents off and does crafts and talks about  bow hunting and such. So if you are going and you plan on taking the young ones with you please stop by.

The last time we did the YBP camp at the banquette we had about 10 youth in the group ranging from 3-13 and the kids put together a back quiver that was later auctioned off at the Saturday night auction. We also had Mr. Ed Wensler talk to the youth about primitive skills and making tools such as a Fire Bow which he also demonstrated for the group, even the adults were impressed with that one.

In any case I hope some of you will be there and I look forward to meeting you face to face as it would be.

I think I have Barb talked into going with me this time. I'll be there.

I'll be there, and my wife Irene is coming with me. We've booked an extra couple of nights so that we can take in some of the Nashville scene without missing a minute of PBS.

Bringing my wife Janice as well.  Some of the kids may drop in on there way to Opry Mills.  Nashville is pretty much our home turf, only 2 hours from home.

My wife and I made plans to go as soon as Nashville was announced.  We have our hotel reservations and are ready.  The PBS Banquet is always a highlight of my year and I'm sure this one will be no different.
