NOTHING!!!  Indiana DNR really screwed up a while back and offered a Lifetime Hunting License to its residents.  That hunting license covered small game (24.00), Deer (archery 24.00, shotgun buck only 24.00, bonus doe any weapon 24.00, muzzleloader 24.00 and any extra doe you kill is like 15.00 or something like that), and Turkey (24.00 plus 9.00 bucks or something for the stamp) 175 bucks a year to hunt if you dont have that license.... I paid 1100 for my lifetime license when I turned 16.  I am now 28 and the IDNR will not recieve another dime from me to hunt this state.  The only other expense I have is if I want to fish and thats 24.00 bucks.

I say they screwed up because of the fact that short sightedness is what is costing them money.  The people that didnt get that license are paying in each season, but that number has to be drastically lower than it was.  The IDNR stopped issueing the lifetime license because they realized it was going to cost them a metric tonne of money down the road.  Think of all the kids whos parents were in a postion to purchase this license for their kids.  Say 100 kids got that license when they were 16 now they are 26.  That means that over the last ten years IDNR has lost 50K on those 100 kids purchasing license each year if they hunt every season.  Now scale that up and do the math.  Lets say 100,000 people bought that license ten years ago.  IDNR just lost 50 million.

46.00 for Colorado elk, resident. Deer are all draw this year. You can get more than one license but it would be lengthy to describe how. go to the CDOW website for more info.

In NC Lifetime License money goes into an Endowment Fund. They only get to spend the interest on it every year. Its up over $68million now. Bought both my boys lifetime licenses before they turned 1. It was $200 for infants, $750 for adults. I thought it was a pretty good deal.

The lifetime license many states offer are great when Your tags are combined. Kansas has a lifetime license available for $442.50 or a combination hunt and fish for 882.50 and You still have to buy tags for the same amount as a general resident. The only upside is if You move out of state You can buy tags as a resident.

Bretto I feel for ya have to drive so far for your animals get ahold of me some time and maybe you could come hunt mullies with me out here where i'm at just 45 min to mully ground

I bought an Iowa lifetime hunting and fishing lisense  for $100 when I turned 65. (have to be 65 or older.)
That does not include yearly deer tag (either sex, $25,50),doe tags are like 10.50 after original either sex tag). trout stamps, fur bearers license, duck tags, turkey tags, etc, are all extra.

Moooseran

Indiana Life Time license best buy I ever made. Covers all season and all game. Also for being old enough I don't need a fishing license or any of the stamps. Just proof that I'm over 65.

bigbellybuck

60 bucks for a sportsman's license in georgia. That includes everything except duck stamp I believe. Even includes trout stamp, and we get 2 bucks and 10 does.
I don't have a problem.  I can quit deer hunting anytime I want.

bawana bowman

I feel like I'm getting a deal. $100.00 for the following; And we still have a 2 deer per day limit!

Gold Sportsman's License (includes Hunting, Saltwater Fishing and Freshwater Fishing licenses; and Wildlife Management Area, Archery, Muzzleloading Gun, Crossbow, Turkey and Florida Waterfowl, Snook and Lobster permits)

The only thing I have to buy extra is a Federal waterfowl stamp, I guess there are some benefits to living in Florida.

I still buy a non-resident license for Georgia, Alabama, and Kansas every year. And they sure don't seem to mind taking my money. Can't believe how much they have gone up. Believe Kansas may be off the schedule for this year.

Gaff

$47 ollars for a mass licence, and 280.00 for a non-res ny licence!! im about at my limit for huntin ny. i do it because there are no deer around me, and i like to think that when i get up in the morning i may actually see something!!

You guys dont't know how are you lucky...In Italy you spend more then $ 800,00 for the licence, and you can shoot only small games.
Sig !!!
In a few regions you can hunt ( legally ) wild boars and roe deer but in the most part of the country is a trouble.
Our German friends are less lucky then in Italy....NO Bowhunting...In France the licence is cheap and you can hunt deer and boars.

The great state of NY has increased their fees on the super sportsman to $98.00 with the chance of drawing two doe tags, so this year I laid down the money and made out pretty well. I can shoot 1 buck during archery season, one archery/ muzzle loader doe, I lucked out and drew two doe tags for my area, then I have a buck tag for the gun season, I can shoot that deer with a bow if I so choose, a bear tag, two spring turkey, two fall turkey, and small game. At first I was mad about the increase but after thinking it over it's still a good deal.

Ouch.  $800 for a small game license would see me working on my golf game a lot more (though I recall paying some ungodly amount for a beer in Venice a few years ago).

The Germans always surprise me by not allowing bow hunting.  I lived there for a few years when I was young (in the early 70's) and they had a serious hunting tradition.

Should make us appreciate what we have.

Delaware is about 60 bucks for everything hunting. Thats a general hunting license, buck tags, fed and state duck stamps. You can hunt any game any season for this price.

kbetts

I thought I'd add that DE license includes two buck tags (one over 15" and one hunters choice for $10) and four doe tags.

Well the last time NY licenses were going up, I guess around ten years ago I bought a lifetime sportsman and bowhunting. Since then they have raised the fees two or three times including this year so it looks like i finally did something right for a change. Another bonus about the NY lifetime licenses is that if you move out of the state they are still valid. Now if we could get our crooked politicians to use the money for what is supposed to be used for we will be doing great.

Arkansas is $25.00. Depends on what zone you hunt, you can kill up to 4 deer, but only 2 can be bucks. You can take all game with this license. This does not include the state and federal duck stamps or permits for special hunts.

homerdave

hunt, fish, trap here is $62, plus $10 king salmon tag. some zones require a $25 locking tag for brown bear. musk ox for residents is covered in some areas too.
of course in order to take advantage of all that could cover ( grizzly, moose, sheep, goat, up to 5 caribou,3 blacktails and depending where you hunt unlimited black bear) you will need thousands of dollars to cover transportation be it boat, bush plane or road travel... this is a REALLY expensive place to hunt!!!
tell me how close you got, not how far you shot
