Well this is my first time trying to post with photobucket.  Here are some pictures of my most recent [Sept. 1st] "traditional harvest" taken with my 56# Shawnee.  I was hunting with "Chris Hill" [one of the guys featured in Bowhunting Reflections].

The deer [3x3 Mulie] was taken Sept.1st in Central WA. Shot was close to 27 yards.... Skewered the heart and lungs.  Traveled about 30 yards and all over in less than 5 seconds.  Just the way we like them.  Now I have to wait untill the 8 th of Sept for Elk Season to open.

Gene,

Under the pic on Photobucket there should be 4 different image links. Take the bottom one, right-click on it and "copy".
then "paste" into your topic. It will show up as a long text link. You can then click on "preview post" to see if it came through before actually posting it.
Make sure the pic is the right size too, or it may get deleted. That is easy to to do by clicking "edit picture" while still on Photobucket.

Come on Guys....cut me some slack  :knothead:  The deer was taken Tuesday, Sept 1st and the 8th is when I get to start chasing Roosevelt Elk in SW Washington.  Just talked with Thomas Taylor and he's going to post pictures for me this morning.

There are also a couple pictures of the entrance and exit sides of the deer after the No Mercy Single Bevel did it's job.....Not for the timid!!!

This deer did not make 30 yards [3 -4 bounds] or live 5 seconds after the hit.  Truly a devasting broadhead.  Keepin mind, it hit ribs [partially] both going in and going thru, and was stuck in the off shoulder.  You can see it in one picture after removing the shoulder. All of that was actually done by the broadhead [and not enhanced at all].

I actually had to remove that shoulder to get arrow out as it broke off on the entrance side and had the heart and lungs skewered inside the body cavity.  I could not remove them until removing the shaft inside the body cavity.  :wavey:

Let everyone pray for good elk hunting in DEC!!!!!!

Gene can have good hunting in Sept though, that's ok with me so long as the arrow gods agree.
